O dark early in the fog


Day 10 (yesterday)

It was cold and foggy and dark. This made the riding kind of spooky - if someone had said, "boo" I would have jumped out of my skin. 



The roots were really slick, the bridges even more so, but fortunately the rocks had traction. 

Once the sun showed up, the scenery was beautiful in a stark, New England sort of way.
