A nice hike in the woods

I headed out in the middle of the afternoon to do some hiking in the Medford side of the Fells.

This hat has been hanging on a tree for a few weeks now:

I took the opportunity to check out part of the mountain bike loop as well. This shot was not taken with a tilt shift lens - just an old Minolta Rokkor-X 50mm with the aperture set to F/1.7.
